Awesome, awesome top fun tonight. A smallish crowd at Bardon Bowls club, but wow they got into it.
what a great community at MacGregor State School, thanks for super night!
Madness at Patrick’s Road State School
Unbelievable numbers at the dance! Top night
The Gap Primary school
Another incredible bushdance at this school. Somehow it was even better this year. There was just something about being squashed in a bit more up in their new hall. Full-on dancing, great parent involvement, great social times. Good fun thanks guys
St. Catherine’s Primary, Wishart
Look at what our drummer/vocalist Chris had to endure last night… a thong gaff taped to the snare. The hall was probably the most reverberant room we’ve ever played in (the rain had chased us indoors). You should have seen the EQ settings required on the whole band!
But the school had fun, hundreds dancing.
Sunnybank Community and Sporting Club
Australia Day gig was…interesting! The venue – Sunnybank Community and Sports Club – lost all power about 45mins into it! So we did the rest of the gig unplugged. The people were so into it though, they stayed through 2 hours of no air-con and beeping alarms to dance to practically everything we played. Great gig in the end, and we’d gladly play there again!
Seven Hills State School
Another HUGE bushdance at Seven Hills State School
Camp Hill Kindy
Super dance everyone, but what a shame about the storm!
Ashgrove Kindy
What a bunch of great dancin’ kids!
Everton Physical Culture Club
That was a great bushdance, but NONE of those people could throw!!
UGC Kawana Waters
Thanks for a great night guys
St Peter’s Primary
Another incredibly fun bushdance at St Peter’s! Always good…
All Saints Primary School, Albany Creek
Well third time lucky! Finally, the third year in a row at this school and it wasn’t raining!
The Gap State School
So keen! Just say the words “lets do a dance” and suddenly there’s 100 people in the dancefloor! Such a shame about the storm! Thanks for another great bushdance, was that the third time for Beefa’s at your school?
St Catherine’s Primary, Wishart
This school always dance SOOO well! Amazing! We were trying to figure out if this was the 6th or the 7th time we’ve helped out at their bushdance. The lights were really good too.
Patrick’s party
Great party! Thanks Patrick! After this gig, Beefa’s management decided that Greg never again should be loaned tools.
Coombabah State School
Coombabah State School. Just an amazing turnout and incredible participation from everyone at this school! Apparently we were the first band to play in their shiny new hall. Hope we didn’t mess it up too much guys!
Camp Hill Kindy
Awesome afternoon Kindy BBQ/Bushdance/Fair with the whole community at Camp Hill Kindy. Patron Councillor Shayne Sutton was on hand to help officiate, Georgina did a fantastic job hosting, and lots of prizes were won, including the Rudd Bike! Thanks for a great afternoon guys! Great dancing!
Mt Gravatt Kindy
Lovely afternoon at Mt Gravatt Kindy, kids everywhere, pony rides, cake stall. BUT THEN… massive storm! Not to worry, we all fitted on the verandah and the dancing continued!
Thanks to Patron Councillor Krista Adams for officiating and donating to the Kindy!
Madonna’s 40th
1000 balloons, gaythorne bowls club, a room full of great dancers and a cowboy clown with a beard… Happy birthday Donna! Oh, and the greatest cooking by the lady from the Brekky Creek Hotel.
St Peters Chanel – The Gap
Thanks to the whole community at St Peters Chanel – The Gap. What a difference that new sports hall makes! So wonderful to look out halfway through and see hundreds of people up dancing. Great Job guys, and well done Sherille!
Ginelle’s 40th at Greenbank
Wow, wow, WOW what a party. Where do you begin to describe it? Great participation, the cow costume, kids supplying mentos to the band all night, pavlova, an encore at the end WITH a curtain call, and a moonwalk by Chris in the middle of a dance-off out on the floor, and much more. No Vuvuzelas thankfully. Thanks Ginelle and happy birthday!
St Josephs Catholic Primary School
Thanks everyone from St Josephs Catholic Primary School! What a great night (except for the vuvuzelas – we’ll remember them forever, and will be adding a new clause to all our booking agreements from now on)! Thanks to Pete Mac for stepping in on mandolin to fill in for Greg! It’s always a pleasure to play with you in the band Pete, and it’s just added bonus to have someone on stage who doesn’t smell so bad.
Ashgrove Kindy
A fun afternoon with the families from Ashgrove Kindy. Hay bales, and a REAL scary scarecrow you just might be able to spot at the back of the band – no, not Greg our guitarist, the scarecrow is behind him… This was our second year in a row providing a bushdance for this Kindy! The kids actually did very well, even learning one of our harder dances. Lots of parents getting involved too, just a great afternoon! Thanks everyone!
Lions youth exchange Kamp Krocodile
Another fun night – the 3rd year in a row for Beefas – at the Lions youth exchange Kamp Krocodile with lots of exchange students from all over the world. Great dancing guys! On a personal note, Beefas finally let loose our new 31-band graphic EQ to clean up our bass and kick drum mix! Smiles all round as we sounded better than ever before! Worth every cent, and it’s funny how the little things can make such a big difference. Thanks Norm for letting us arrive 30 mins early to trial our new equipment!
Samford Show
Another brilliant year out at the Samford Show. Even in the rain, people coped just fine, cheerily pulling out umbrellas until the huge bonfire pushed any rain right away. And then the fireworks! This is what a “show” should be like!
Sarah’s 30th
Northlakes people know how to dance! A surprising crowd tonight at Sarah’s 30th who seemed to materialise from nowhere to fill the dance floor, and knew all the trad dances already… Wow!
EOFYS party – McCulloch Robertson Lawyers
www.mccullough.com.au End of financial year social party bushdance!! Thanks Sam, and Linda, great dancing and love the pink outfits!!
Libby’s birthday party, kawana
Just a great night with all of libby’s friends, family, snacks and dancing!

It really was such an easy event to organise, your website is excellent and you always replied promptly to my emails… Shorncliffe State School will definitely be holding another Bush Dance in the future.
